It’s just an old book, isn’t it?

The Alice Book

The Alice Book is a three-book novel, telling a single story from three different points of view across a decade.two young african american kids, a girl and her smaller brother

Ten-year-old Teddy Byrnes finds a tattered book in an old antique shop. The book is Lewis Carrol’s personal first edition of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. When he buys the book, he opens a doorway into another world, a dimension formed by our imaginations. When that door opens, it allows magic to enter our world.

But there is a man in search of that book and the magic it possesses. When he finds the book, he leaves Teddy empty, his mind gone. And the only person who knows what happened is Teddy’s five-year-old sister, Teresa. But no one will believe what she saw.

Teresa, however, never loses faith that one day, she’ll find a way to get Teddy back. And as she grows strong, smart, and prepared for that battle, she discovers the person who holds the key to rescuing Teddy is Lewis Carroll’s Alice.
